Sounds like you’re on board for the revolution right away, but it is legitimate to ask if we can fix the problems of this Supreme Court within the system we currently exist in.
I’m not sure whether some of these powers are executive or congressional, but past presidents have talked about adding more justices to the court, and I’ve also heard mention of removing lifetime appointments. I think the first is an executive power and the second is congressional? I’m also not sure how this specific situation can be dealt with now that the ruling has been made, but it sure seems like this court is disregarding precedence left and right… Sorry, I’m not a legal scholar, but I’m also interested in the answer to this question.

…How about a 3?
Edit: Nevermind, just checked. I swear this is still a great phone.

I went outside my comfort zone and installed Lineage on my old Pixel, only to find out I couldn’t get wi-fi calling, so I reverted to my Google OS. Oh no. Any options other than Lineage or a new phone? This 6 year old phone works great except for the lack of updates, and except for the upcoming Gemini updates :( I’m struggling.
Edit: Ubuntu Touch, anybody?
Edit 2: Looks like VoLTE isn’t supported on Ubuntu, either. Any idea why?

Vassar football has been undefeated since like 1861!
What about Morn?!

I wish my app would give an option to have pages rather than an infinite feed.
I didn’t want to say it first! But a huge salamander was living in the water holding tank last I checked! It seems to have gotten swept in during the hurricane in September, and I’m not sure how to get it out as the water in the tank is nearly 10 ft deep.
I’ve never seen that before though–the system is pretty tight. The water comes out from under a huge oak tree into a sheltered area, and stays sheltered until it comes out of the tap. Nobody has ever gotten sick off it to my knowledge… though the salamander is a new development!
I’d love to get the water tested, but I haven’t looked into it other than some local offices that test mineral content. How would I look into testing for parasites?
What do you think about my unfiltered spring water

Words in English that end in “-us” and pluralize to “-i” are from Latin, such as cactus/cacti or focus/foci. However, “octopus” is from Greek, and its correct pluralization from Greek would be “octopodes.” In English, we have also adopted “octopuses,” which fits our standard pluralization rules.
So, “octopi” is actually a language mix up, though one that’s so common that it seems to be accepted in English.

WHO is the hologram of Frank Sinatra? What am I missing??
I’m so out of my depth in this thread. Is this a real side effect of radiation?
Cedar waxwings get drink on fermented mulberries and roll around on the ground.
Wait wait wait, deep space 9 all the way! Rewatching now. Still amazing.
Deleted because I should have scrolled down for “Narf!”
I have never been scared of snakes. They aren’t spooky, they don’t turn my stomach. The phobia has never made sense to me.
But I think if I saw that thing slither by while diving I would get it. Huh.
Weren’t science communicators talking about parts of speech in whale communication last year, too? They’re using AI to identify patterns and variations in speech.
Here’s a general (though older) overview of whale language: https://www.britannica.com/explore/savingearth/the-language-of-whales
Here’s a more recent article taking about using AI to identify patterns in speech: https://scitechdaily.com/ai-decodes-sperm-whale-language-revealing-a-complex-system-of-communication/
