I mean, I’ve worked at a number of hospitals in the US and never seen a recycling receptacle for our waste. Our waste either goes in a biohazard bag to be incinerated, sharps containers to be disposed of (altho not sure in what way), or a regular trash can to presumably in a landfill.

Not sure if other countries are different, but I can’t imagine they sort through our biohazard waste bags for plastic materials.

  • If your library is on steam, then there’s nothing to worry about! Works natively on Linux. If your library is on other platforms, I’d honestly think twice about switching full time. Dual booting might be a better option. My library is split amongst multiple platforms and I decided that it wasn’t working well enough for me. Steam games will work great though!

Many distros are easy enough to install and navigate as a newbie. My go to for years now has been Linux Mint! It’s based on Ubuntu which is based on Debian.

  • Actually that part is a legitimate classification and not part of the AI nonsense. Broadly, lung cancers are classified as either “small cell” cancers or “non small cell” cancers based on how the tumor appears microscopically. The “non small cell” cancers can be further subdivided into various types.

The reason for this distinction between the two is due to the significant difference in clinical management and prognosis. Having “small cell” lung cancer is effectively a death sentence, whereas the other types are a lot more treatable.

I’m confused though. Don’t people use this to talk about how small things like bugs can fall from a large height and be uninjured, but large things like a human or elephant will be injured if falling from a height? I feel like what you’re saying is backwards to what the internet has told me.
