1·4 months agoThank you for your answer. From what I can understand, the Stream settings in NPM do not allow for the function performed by ssl_preread_server_name. That means I would have to modify things in the NPM container itself, right?

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is there any Fediverse project aimed at creating a safe space for kids to interact within?English
3·4 months agoQuestion is, is there anyone that is even suggesting to build a moderation tool for, for example, Mastodon, aimed at this specific need?

Fediverse@lemmy.ml•Is there any Fediverse project aimed at creating a safe space for kids to interact within?
2·4 months agoWell, already knowing if anything like what you described exists it would be great.
Also, maybe an application or instances that would have implemented:
- a system for stricter content moderation, especially something that would automatically delete NSFW/NSFL posts,
- no direct messaging,
- some kind of tool for moderators to efficiently review content,
- multi-layered access to an account to allow for parental control,
- time management tool that would not be based on the client, but with the session duration calculated through interactions.
Thanks for your observation, I will add these ideas to the post description.

Yes, there is a Power LED and it is on.
I tried a game that came free with my GOG account years ago, MagRunner.
Overpopulation, huge zaibatsu that is into digitizing people and they develop an incredible new technology in space: MagTech! Magnetic technology!
I guess the devs were being tongue-in-cheek at the time, but now it’s not funny anymore.
Terrible Portal wanna-be, by the way.

43·9 months agoThat is actually good news. Means that people more likely to be “normies” are adopting an alternative solution.
That’s why I specified legally. Which, being American involved, I reckon still has very little meaning. I cannot undo mistakes I made 15 years ago. Stoically, I can only worry about how I can act in the present.
What is known, at least publicly, about Regeneron?

5·1 year agoYou are joking, right? The customer support alone (at the level at which it stands, which is very high for Steam) is well worth the price, especially for big players.

Linux@lemmy.ml•How I gave up a one-game addiction to switch to 100% Linux (long story warning)
1·1 year agoI never heard someone who is not Russian in the voice chat in CS2. Seeing that the skins are mostly exchanged there as well, I guessed the game was a Russian colony by now.

Linux@lemmy.ml•How I gave up a one-game addiction to switch to 100% Linux (long story warning)
2·1 year agoHere where I am the only such places left are meant for Lan parties and populated by veeery competitive people.
I started playing multiplayer (directly to Warzone) for the first time in my life during the pandemic. I play only once a week if the 3 of us are online. I can organize a farewell party and that’s it.
As a game, CoD/Warzone is terrible, the anti-cheat is iffy as well. I am a patient gamer who loves indie games, stuff like most Devolver games.
I won’t miss it. It’s more of a “tell your friends you grew up” problem.

1·1 year agoI do have 2 M.2 slots available.
Is there any hardware specification I should be pay attention to when buying for exclusive Linux use?
If I was to install one more home partition from the LMDE installation USB, would it automatically fix things for me in Grub or would I have to fix things myself before or after?

Solved. Updating the post with the solution.
