

Why would the trains be cleaner? Are they cleaning them more than the old ones?
The new trains in the Midwest are a disaster, unreliable, uncomfortable seats, harsh lighting.
Also they have half as many bathrooms as the old trains so the bathrooms are used more and are dirtier as a result, they frequently break. There’s even a automatic door with no manual override that locks people inside! I used to love taking the train but not anymore.
Hope these are somehow better than the Midwest trains but probably not.




The city has little to do with the power. The power company (NIPSCO) is not restoring power because the residents are poor and black and the power company knows there will be no repercussions from Indiana’s Republican government.
This is also probably something of a trial baloon from the network state crowd: can we just start shutting off essential services for “undesirables”?
