The Boston pronunciation!
One of my favorites as well.

Zuck scrambling to be a bootlicker for the incoming administration.
Like some other replies said, it probably won’t get you a job by itself. But it may get you the interview if it’s the distinguishing factor between you and an equivalent candidate.
I got RHCSA (and later RHCE), and I think they were worthwhile. On cost, I would not go out of pocket for the Red Hat training if that’s the bundle you’re referring to. That stuff is priced for people that are being funded by their companies. Personally, I did self-study using Sander van Vugt’s materials. He has both books and videos for RHCSA, depending on your learning style. I found them to be excellent preparation for the exam.
AntennaPod has been working really well for me.

This has been a great alternative for me so far. Very straightforward and functional.
Yep! I have one that I use for music when I go running. It’s over 10 years old now, and still works fine. Phones are too heavy for that use case.
I did an MBA a few years into my professional career, and I think overall it was a great deal. I was fortunate enough to have it paid for by my employer at the time. That particular program was geared toward working professionals, so the classroom time was just evenings and weekends. It checked the box for me being able to say I have a graduate degree on job applications, so I’d say it was worth it.

Fatigued maybe? Requires a full night’s rest to clear, so it would impact the rest of the adventuring day.

Having grown up with TNG, hard agree. If we get to a Starfleet-style space navy, then I’m in.

Yeah I mean it’s gotta be Quark and it’s not close. He also became the de-facto representative of life outside the Federation & Starfleet, which was one of the things DS9 really leaned in to.
That’s awesome to hear. I’m looking to set up some self-hosted stuff, and I see a lot of recommendations for Tailscale for the VPN element.

I’m sure this will work out well for them. The legacy social sites are really on a roll this summer.

Yeah I have no interest in Shorts (or TikTok for that matter), but I’m probably aged out of their target demo anyway. I do think, as a general point, platforms shouldn’t be trend-chasing each other. YT does longer form video well. TikTok does vertical video shorts. I say stick to your core competencies.
That’s interesting. I had thought of doing TrueNAS Scale as a VM running in Proxmox, but you’re suggesting have TrueNAS itself be the bare-metal hypervisor? What do you find annoying about Proxmox?

Worf had the best explanation of the forehead situation all the way back in DS9. “We do not speak of it with outsiders.”
I think as a turn-key solution, the prebuilt enclosures are fine. I have a two-bay Synology that works well. If you’ve already got components though, DIY is probably going to give you a lot more granular control. I’m planning on building out a home server rack including a TrueNAS VM or something similar.

I always liked this one from Kelvinverse Pike. “Let’s rock and roll” from Cochrane would also be a contender.
My daily driver is Arch running sway. Would be hard to go back from the simplicity and elegance.
